Director of the DAAD Regional Office Amman
Benjamin Schmäling is director of DAAD Regional Office Amman since February 2021. Before that, he held several positions in the DAAD headquarters in Bonn, among others as head of Transnational Education projects in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. From 2011 to 2016, he was working as a university teacher for German as a foreign language at French universities Paris-Sorbonne and Lille III. He graduated in French and German Studies and in International Culture and Business Studies.
Dr. Abdel Nasser Hindawi coordinates various activities between the DAAD headquarters in Bonn, Germany, and several Jordanian institutions. He is in charge of the Doctoral and Research Grant program and represents the DAAD at education fairs in the region. In addition to that, he manages the Master program EDU-SYRIA III, a project that is funded by the EU and coordinated by German Jordanian University.
Ms. Shugair is a program coordinator responsible for the Third Country scholarships for Postgraduate Studies for Students from Palestine and Yemen through firstname.lastname@example.org and 079-2760184. She is also in charge of the finances of the DAAD Regional Office Amman.
Amani Kassi’s Mitri
Ms. Kassis is a program coordinator at the DAAD Amman office.
She provides counselling on study and research in Germany and on DAAD-scholarship opportunities.
Also she in charge of the Alumni network and the events, also she is responsible of DAAD Social Media platform and the website.
