Last week, our office had the pleasure of hosting an Info Session & Networking Iftar, gathering partners and friends from across Jordan's academic and research community during this special time of year. The evening featured presentations on DAAD scholarships and academic cooperation programmes for 2026/2027, including upcoming highlights such as our Research Chair in Future Water Systems, a new EU-funded TVET scholarship scheme for young Jordanians, and a regional water conference bringing together alumni from ten Arab countries. During the Q&A session, guests asked insightful questions about DAAD programs and shared their own experiences, sparking meaningful discussions on how to further strengthen partnerships. The networking session that followed allowed participants to connect, exchange ideas, and explore future collaboration opportunities. The event concluded with Iftar, celebrating the Holy Month of Ramadan, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. This gathering was not only an opportunity to share information but also to build stronger relationships with our university partners and alumni, promoting DAAD’s impact across the region and beyond.
