On September 1 st , 2012 the DAAD Information Center which founded in Amman. In 2019 the center became a full-fledged DAAD Branch office.
The office provides information for students and academic staff concerning study and research in Germany – including funding opportunities such as scholarships for Master and PhD or short term visits.
The office also closely collaborates with the Jordanian universities and supports partnership programs between Institutions of Higher Education in the two countries.
In 2020 the DAAD enabled 799 Jordanian students, postgraduates and scientists to stay in Germany. In the same year 323 Germans studied, taught and did research in Jordan.
