We were thrilled to host Dr. Kai Sicks, DAAD Secretary General, during his first visit to Jordan, accompanied by our colleagues from the headquarters in Bonn:

• Dr. Heidi Wedel, Head of Section ST16 (Alumni)

•Ms. Samira Herb-Cless, Acting Head of Executive and Board Office
The visit included an impressive and productive meeting with our partner institutions in Jordan, such as the German Jordanian University, the University of Jordan, the European Union delegation, and the Royal Scientific Society.
Additionally, the visit featured a DAAD Alumni event, which included a presentation by Jordanian alumni and a tracer study, followed by a presentation of DAAD Alumni activities and funding possibilities. We were especially delighted to welcome a few alumni from Palestine, who contributed to an inspiring atmosphere at the event.
We look forward to the upcoming joint projects and to further expanding German-Jordanian cooperation in the field of higher education.
