German Studies in Jordan

The DAAD actively supports the academic training of German language teachers, lecturers, the international networking of German language and literature specialists, as well as the strengthening of German as an academic language.

Three DAAD Lektoren and two teaching assistants from Germany teach German at Jordanian universities. The DAAD supports a Bachelor’s programme in Translation (Arabic, English, and German) and a Master’s programmes in the field of German as a foreign language (DaF) at the German Jordanian University.

In addition ,the “DAAD-Hochschulsommerkursstipendien” (DAAD-Scholarships for University Summer Courses) offer study visits in Germany for several weeks to  Jordanian BA and MA students.
