STEP Intermediate Technical Diploma Selection Interviews

The selection process brought together 60 applicants and selection committee members representing the three participating universities — Al-Balqa Applied University, Al al-Bayt University, and Tafila Technical University — together with sector representatives and technical experts from the labour market and other Jordanian universities.
Applicants participated in structured interviews covering five fields of study: Nursing, Information Technology, Renewable Energy, Smart Agriculture, and Hospitality. Candidates were assessed based on their qualifications, study plans, motivation, potential, and relevant circumstances.
Following the completion of the interviews, the selected applicants will pursue a two-year Intermediate Technical Diploma at one of the STEP partner universities, starting in the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. Final results will be communicated following the announcement of the results by the Unified Admissions Unit.
The selection interviews reflect the strong cooperation between DAAD, the participating universities, sector representatives, and technical experts, supporting young people in Jordan to access technical diploma education and develop skills relevant to their future careers under the EU-funded Scholarship Scheme for an Inclusive TVET System in Jordan (STEP).
مقابلات اختيار طلبة الدبلوم التقني المتوسط ضمن برنامج STEP
خلال الفترة من 14 إلى 16 أيلول/سبتمبر 2026، أُجريت في عمّان مقابلات اختيار الطلبة للالتحاق ببرنامج الدبلوم التقني المتوسط ضمن برنامج المنح الدراسية للتعليم التقني والمهني الشامل في الأردن (STEP)، المموّل من الاتحاد الأوروبي، وُتنفّذ هذه المنح من قبل الهيئة الألمانية للتبادل الأكاديمي في الاردن (DAAD)
وجمعت عملية الاختيار 60 متقدماً، إلى جانب أعضاء لجان الاختيار الذين مثّلوا الجامعات المشاركة الثلاث، وهي جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية، وجامعة آل البيت، وجامعة الطفيلة التقنية، بالإضافة إلى ممثلين عن القطاعات المختلفة وخبراء فنيين من سوق العمل ومن جامعات أردنية أخرى.
وشارك المتقدمون في مقابلات منظمة شملت خمسة مجالات دراسية هي التمريض، وتكنولوجيا المعلومات، والطاقة المتجددة، والزراعة الذكية، والضيافة. وخضع المتقدمون للتقييم استناداً إلى مؤهلاتهم، وخططهم الدراسية، ودوافعهم، وإمكاناتهم، والظروف ذات الصلة.
وبعد استكمال المقابلات، سيبدأ الطلبة الذين سيتم اختيارهم دراسة الدبلوم التقني المتوسط لمدة عامين في إحدى الجامعات الشريكة لبرنامج STEP، اعتباراً من الفصل الدراسي الأول للعام الأكاديمي 2026/2027. وسيتم الإعلان عن النتائج النهائية بعد صدور نتائج وحدة تنسيق القبول الموحد.
وتعكس مقابلات الاختيار مستوى التعاون الوثيق بين الهيئة الألمانية للتبادل الأكاديمي (DAAD)، والجامعات المشاركة، وممثلي القطاعات، والخبراء الفنيين، بما يسهم في دعم وصول الشباب في الأردن إلى فرص التعليم التقني وتطوير المهارات ذات الصلة بمساراتهم المهنية المستقبلية، وذلك في إطار برنامج المنح الدراسية للتعليم التقني والمهني الشامل في الأردن (STEP)، المموّل من الاتحاد الأوروبي.
