We’re happy to inform you about TU Berlin’s International Alumni Workshop: "COLLOC 2020" which will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and will focus on the self-organized occupation of Solano Trindade in Duque de Caxias.
By working together closely with community leaders, activists, residents, practitioners, academics, and students the workshop will address the need for integrating knowledge coming from various actors and disciplines in order to tackle complex urban development challenges in a suitable and innovative way.
The workshop aims at:
•expanding knowledge networks of the workshop participants,
•stimulating transformation knowledge in the local context,
•involving participants in complex decision-making processes and
•co-producing knowledge within complex social and natural networks through design, debate and hands-on-construction work (design-build).
The workshop is being organized by TU Berlin's Chair of Landscape Architecture and Open Space Planning together with the Alumni Program and in cooperation with BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. It will be held in English.
