The International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) Programme for Arab countries of the German Bundestag grants 24 young and talented Arab graduates the opportunity to get to know the German political system with a special focus on German Parliament during a one month' stay in Berlin in September 2020. The programme is directed at talented Arab graduates who are interested and actively involved in politics or civil society and who are determined to play an active role in promoting core democratic values in their home countries. Also part of the programme is an internship in the office of Member of Parliament to give stipends an insight into the political decision making process.

The applicants should be under the age of 35 at the beginning of the programme, politically/socially active, should have a degree from university, and should be proficient in German. The admission period for the International Parliamentary Scholarship for Arab countries 2020 expires on December 15th, 2019 (NEW DEADLINE). All applications should be sent to the German embassy in your home country.
