Engineering & Business in Germany | Easy Access
The world needs professionals who can work across borders and cultures. At Furtwangen University, our English-taught Bachelor’s programs in International Engineering and International Business Management prepare you for exactly these challenges.
Unlike most German universities, we offer direct admission to non-EU students through a simple three-hour aptitude test – no Studienkolleg, no German required (English B2 sufficient). Find all details on our Smart admission page.
German engineering is highly regarded worldwide, especially in Baden-Württemberg – a European hub for medical technology, automotive, and software development. Industry seeks engineers who combine technical expertise with economic knowledge and intercultural skills.
The IEB program delivers exactly this: solid engineering fundamentals complemented by business and intercultural training. From semester three, choose electives matching your interests. Semesters five and six include an internship and study abroad. Complete your thesis in semester seven.
International Business Management
Business is international by nature. Through intercultural studies, a semester abroad, and daily interaction with international peers at our Schwenningen campus, you’ll enhance your global career prospects.
The curriculum covers all business essentials – finance, accounting, marketing, human resources – complemented by intercultural and language courses. Like IEB, you’ll customize your studies through electives, complete project work, spend semester five in an internship and semester six abroad, then finish with your thesis.
