DAAD in Jordan

The DAAD Information Center (IC) Amman was founded on September 1st, 2012.

It serves as the local liaison office of the German Academic Exchange Service and provides amongst others information for students and academic staff about studying and doing research in Germany - including research funding opportunities in the form of scholarships and other programmes.

Furthermore, it collaborates closely with Jordanian universities and supports projects and programs of higher education partnerships between the two countries.

In 2012 the DAAD enabled 558 Jordanian students, postgraduates and scientists to stay in Germany. In the same year 184 Germans studied, taught and did research in Jordan.
